The people of Nagpur sought assistance from Goddess Jagdamba Mata, who came as a warrior and vanquished the monster. To show their gratitude, the people of Nagpur built a temple in his honour

Bhog offered at Koradi Mata Mandir

Bhog is an essential part of the puja rituals at Koradi Mata Temple. Bhog is offered to satiate the hunger of the Goddess thereby blessing the devotees. At Koradi Mata Temple, 56 types of bhog are offered to Goddess Jagdamba Mata, which includes various dishes, fruits and other food items. This elaborate prasad is a testimony to the devotion and reverence of the devotees towards the Goddess. Bhog is prepared by many devotees and offered to the Goddess during various festivals and special occasions, and it is believed that the Goddess bestows spiritual benefits and blessings on those who participate in these rituals.
