In the months of January and February, Jaya Ekadasi is observed during the waxing phase of the moon (Shukla Paksha). The date of Jaya Ekadashi is February 1st in 2023. Numerous Hindu communities also observe it as Bhishma Ekadashi and Bhoumi Ekadasi. It is said that following Jaya Ekadashi results in release and helps remove guilt associated with past crimes (Moksha).
The Padma Purana and the Bhavishyottara Purana both provide Lord Krishna's explanation of the significance of Jaya Ekadashi to Yudhishtira.
Jaya Ekadashi is a day when fasting is highly recommended. Some ardent followers of Vishnu don't even sleep at night. All customary guidelines for the Ekadashi fast are observed.

Jaya Ekadasi's Significance
On Jaya Ekadasi, Lord Vishnu is worshipped as Jagadishwar, the universe's ruler.
Sin restoration will be a blessing for sinners.
Advantages of the Jaya Ekadasi Vrat
A person participating in the vrat will have the chance to atone for their crimes, according to the Padma Purana.
A person who observes the vrat won't give birth in BhootтАФPreta Yoni, meaning they won't be born as ghosts or other evil entities.
It is also belived that Jaya Ekadashi Vrat helps gain triumph over adversaries, satisfaction of a desire & overcome your financial challenges.
On Jaya Ekadasi, how do you perform Vishnu Puja?
Puja should be performed in the early morning after sunrise or in the evening on the west side of the home, take a bath, then dress in blue.
Fill some water into a steel kalash. Put a few tulsi leaves there. With a coconut, seal the steel kalash's mouth. Put the kalash on a piece of blue fabric.
Pray to Vishnu, the Supreme Being who rules the universe.
One wick should be used to light the lamp when using cow ghee.
Present Chandan.
Offer agarbatti or rose flower dhoop.
Offer water or the Kasturi scent attar.
Present blue flowers.
Offer a coconut-based dessert. After puja, this should be discussed with family members.
Utilize a chandan mala to recite the mantra "om namo bhagavate jagadishaya.

Jaya Ekadasi Special Puja
With sesame oil he lights six lamps (til ka tel) and defeats his enemies.
Sparis and cloves are offered to Lord Vishnu on this day. Keep it in the safe for later so that your wish will come true.
To overcome financial difficulties he offers 12 badams to Vishnu. Later, cover them with black cloth and hide them around the house.
