1. Kartikey Jayanti
Kartik Purnima is celebrated as the birthday of Kartikey bhagwan who is the god of war and elder son of Mahadev. This day is also dedicated to the pits, dead ancestors.
2. Dev Deepawali
According to Hindu mythology, on this day lord shiva killed the demon called Tripurasur who is destroying the dev lok. After that, every god celebrated Dev Deepawali in Shiv lok Kashi by lighting the diyas on the ghat.
3. Tulsi Vivah
This day is also popular for Tulsi Vivah (Basil plant) and Shaligram ji who is an avatar of Lord Vishnu. This event indicates the end of the monsoon and the beginning of the wedding season.
4. Victory of Matsya

Many devotees do fast (vrat) and perform puja upasana like Rudrabhishek to Lord Shiva, Tulsi Vivah, and Satyanarayan Vrat. They also take holy baths and light diyas on ghats.
In some regions, people also make miniature boats by decorating it and floating it.
