Offering chola to Hanuman Ji is a sacred practice in Hinduism, noted for its spiritual significance and the blessings it bestows upon devotees. This ceremony involves applying a paste consisting of sindoor (vermilion) and other sacred elements to Hanuman Ji's idol, particularly on fortunate occasions. Understanding the appropriate ways and times for this offering can improve the worship experience while also pleasing the deity, resulting in the fulfilment of requests and removal of impediments.

1. Chola should be provided to Hanuman Ji on auspicious occasions such as Tuesdays and Hanuman Jayanti, with special emphasis placed on the way of offering.
2. The procedure begins with the idol being cleansed with holy liquids, ideally Ganga Jal, and then applying chola paste prepared from sindoor, ghee, or jasmine oil.
3. Chola offerings should be made in the proper order, beginning with the feet and progressing to the head (Srishti Kram) for benevolence and ending with the feet (Sanhar Kram) for specific wishes.
4. After presenting chola, devotees should perform Aarti, offer prayers and bhog (usually laddus), and ask forgiveness for any faults made throughout the ceremony.
