Goddess Chhinnamasta is considered both the giver as well as the destroyer of life.She is considered to be the form of Goddess Kali who can sacrifice her life to protect her devotees and can even take someone's life.

How to Celebrate Chhinnamasta Jayanti?

1. Start the day by waking up early in the morning and taking bath.
2. Clean the temple area of the house and the idol or statue of Goddess Chhinnamasta.

How to worship Goddess Chhinnamasta?

1. Take a bath and wear clean clothes.
2. Prepare a clean puja place by placing a red cloth on a small stool.
3. Place the idol or yantra of Chinnamasta Devi on the post.
4. Gather puja materials like red flowers, vermilion, rice, incense sticks, ghee lamp, naivedya (food offerings).
5. Invoke the Goddess by chanting the Beej Mantra “Shree Hreem Kleem Aim Vajra Vairochanyai Hum Hum Phat Swaha” andstart worship.
6. Offer prayers, flowers, vermilion, rice, incense, lamp and naivedya.
7. Chant Chhinnamasta Chalisa or stotra.
8. Meditate on the divine form of the Goddess and ask for boons.
