Dhanurmasa lasts 30 days and is considered to represent the time when Lord Krishna presented the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. During this fortunate month, followers celebrate this heavenly occurrence by performing numerous rituals, prayers, and cultural events.
