King Vikramaditya built the Ram temple on Ram ki Paidi 2000 years ago after restoring the Kalaram temple. In 1528 A.D. Babur invaded and fought a holy being named Shyamanand Saraswati. Shyamanand saved an idol from the Mughals and threw it in the Saryu River. The idol stayed there for 220 years..
