Shri Kale Ram Temple is located in the city of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Ram. King Vikramaditya built the Ram temple on Ram ki Paidi 2000 years ago after restoring the Kalaram temple. In 1528 A.D. Babar invaded and tried to demolish the temple and then holy idol. A holy being named Shyamanand Saraswati saved the idol and threw it in the Saryu River. The idol stayed there for 220 years..
