Detailed Puja Process for Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran at Trimbakeshwar, Nashik

📍Pre-Puja Rituals
Ganesh Puja, Varun Puja and Punyahavacham is done by offering prayers to Ganesh ji and Varuna Dev, and purifying the puja area.

📍Main Puja Rituals
16 Devi Puja: The 16 Matrikas (divine mothers) are worshipped to seek their blessings and protection.

Naag Devata Puja: The central part of the puja involves the worship of twelve Naag (snake) deities, including Rahu, Ketu, and other Nagas and Nagins. These deities are often represented by gold or silver idols.

Lord Shiva Puja: Lord Shiva, the supreme deity, is worshipped with panchamrita (a mixture of five nectars), Rudrakalash puja (worship of a sacred pot filled with water), and Navagraha puja (worship of nine planets).

Havan: A sacred fire ritual is performed with offerings to the deities.

Puranahuti: The final offering to the sacred fire, marking the completion of the havan.

📍Post-Puja Rituals

Balidaan: A symbolic offering is made to ward off evil eyes. This typically involves placing a lamp made of edible oil on a bed of rice and offering it to the deities.

Prasad Distribution: Dry fruits and coconuts are offered as prasad. The coconut should be broken and consumed only by family members. It is advised not to share it with neighbours or relatives. Any black portion of the coconut should be discarded in water.

⚠️ For 11 days after the puja, it is recommended to avoid non-vegetarian food and alcohol.
